Chicago TidyFixers Terms of Service & Customer Policy Agreement

At Chicago TidyFixers, we value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling for all clients, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling guidelines:

Standard Cancellations

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked service without penalty.

  • Notice may be given via phone, text, or email at:

    Late Cancellations (Less than 24 Hours’ Notice)

    • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

    • This fee covers the loss of reserved time and scheduling adjustments.

    Same-Day Cancellations/No-Shows

  • Services will not be rescheduled until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

  • If no notice is provided and our team arrives at the service location, the client will be charged 50% of the total quoted service amount.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling with more than 24 hours’ notice is free of charge.

  • Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the $50 cancellation fee unless you have signed a cleaning membership contract; then it’s free of charge.

Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. Fees may be waived at management’s discretion for:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Other unavoidable circumstances

    Refunds & Deposits

  • Deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable in the event of late cancellations or no-shows.

  • For cancellations made with proper notice, deposits will be credited toward your next booking or refunded upon request.

General Company Policies

Handyman services: Price will vary depending on job, distance, and difficulty of job. Our policy states that our handyman will show you the completed work before they leave. It is the client’s responsibility to approve or disapprove at the time of showing. If the client says nothing until they receive a bill, circumstances will be taken into consideration. LATE PAYMENT FEE. There is no grace period; a 25% late fee will be applied at midnight of the day of service for the total amount of the bill.

Mold Discovery & Safety Policy

At Chicago TidyFixers LLC, the health and safety of our clients and employees are our highest priority. During any cleaning or handyman service, if our team discovers visible mold, suspected mold growth, or conditions that present a potential mold hazard, the following policy applies:

1. Immediate Notification

If mold is found while performing services, our team will immediately notify the client and document the affected area(s).

2. Assessment & Recommendations

Our technicians will provide a basic assessment of the issue and recommend appropriate next steps, including professional mold remediation services offered by Chicago TidyFixers LLC.

3. Safety-Based Service Halt

If the client is unable or unwilling to proceed with mold remediation, all cleaning and non-emergency services will be placed on hold.

This pause is necessary to:

  • Protect the health and safety of our employees

  • Prevent cross-contamination to other areas of the home

  • Avoid spreading mold spores through routine cleaning activities

4. Resumption of Services

Cleaning and routine services may resume only after mold remediation has been completed and the affected areas are confirmed safe.

5. Exceptions

Emergency or essential mitigation tasks may be performed at the company’s discretion to prevent further damage.
